Sober observations about what the work of the ministry involves.

As we study Acts 1:4-5 we cling to Jesus’ last words to His disciples. These words instruct them in preparation through patience; by actively waiting on the promises of God.

Habacuc fue un Creyente de Dios al máximo y esta misma pasión lo lleva a desviar su atención en cosas que ya Dios tenia bajo su control y no era necesario es tener que estar molesto por las cosas que el pensaba que Dios no estaba haciendo en aquellos días. Para los cristianos en los días de hoy es muy similar, pues nos entregamos a nuestros propios razonamientos y nos olvidamos de que Dios esta en control y esto nos lleva a pasar situaciones incomodas que a lo largo de la vida van a comprometer a nuestras propias familias y ministerios...Acompañeme a estudiar un pasaje rico en aplicación practica para nuestras vidas.

This morning we considered Paul's thorn in the flesh, the spiritual battle we are in, what God was up to with Paul and the Corinthians, and how to view spiritual authority.

Este es un Libro de los considerados Profetas Menores y vamos a poder ver la perspectiva y narración de un profeta que esta frustrado por la forma en que sus lideres y pueblo desobedece deliberadamente a Dios, y aun así el como Dios no esta haciendo nada ( en sus ojos ) para corregir lo que esta pasando. Antes de estudiar lo que esta sucediendo, veamos un poco del Contexto del libro y de lo que esta pasando en esos días... Recuerde que Dios nos permite el ver cosas en nuestras vidas, con el único fin de poder ser Luz y dar testimonio de Cristo en nuestras vidas.

Considering the life of Jehoahaz, we learn from his mistakes. In considering the life of a minister, we learn how to cast down the sins of our Fathers and to lead with a repentant heart.

We continue our study of the exhortation Paul gives when he references Genesis 3. We "view the film" of our foe and how he plays his game. We look at how to prepare for spiritual warfare against our enemy.

El seguir los pasos de nuestro Señor Jesús es un reto visto como algo "imposible" para muchos creyentes, y el problema es que como hijos de Dios ( los que le hemos recibido ) tenemos el deseo y no sabemos como completarlo o al menos el como empezar a seguir sus pasos por medio de nuestras acciones. Y esta ves vamos a estudiar como dos mujeres nos regalan un ejemplo impresionante del como podemos empezar a seguir y poder imitar los pasos de Jesús,.. Vemos como Marta y Maria están enfocadas en cosas diferentes ( importantes ambas ) pero solo Una Cosa es la glorifica al Padre que esta en los cielos y es el hecho de sentarse y poder escuchar su palabra ( para nosotros por medio del devocional ) y poder Obedecer a lo que dice.

From the first century the church has been under the attack of mis-truths and false teachers. Our faithful approach to the literality of scripture is critical to the well-being of God's people and ultimately his calling on our lives. In closing, Paul warns the Romans with specific instruction on what to do when they encounter false teachers.

This message looks at the testimony of the faithful servant in Genesis 24. There were seven (7) key takeaways pertaining to the servant. 1. A servant has no name. (Gen 24:1-3) a. A servant’s heart is not provoked by self-recognition. A servant’s name/identity is in the one he serves. (Col 3:1-4) 2. A servant is obedient. (Gen 24:3-4, 9-10) a. A servant goes where he is sent. A servant does what he is commanded. (Luk 6:46) 3. A servant is prayerful and thankful. a. A servant prays. (Gen 24:12-14). i. A servant seeks the Lord’s blessing and direction in the commission wherewith he is given. (Psa 119:105, 127:1) b. A servant waits on the Lord to answer prayer. (Gen 24:21, Psa 27:14) c. A servant praises the Lord for answered prayer. (Gen 24:26-27, Psa 150:6) 4. A servant is about his master’s business first. (Gen 24:33) a. A servant esteem’s his master’s words/commission greater than worldly comforts. (Job 23:12) 5. A servant speaks of his master. (Gen 24:34-48) a. A servant identifies his master through his actions and his words. (Gen 2:33-34) b. A servant share’s his master’s words. (Gen 24:37-41; Joh 17:8) c. A servant sings the praises of his master (the Lord). (Gen 24:42-48; Psa 66:16) 6. A servant gives gifts of his master. (Gen 24:53) a. A servant shares the gifts/treasures of God’s Word. (Pro 2:1-4, Luk 12:48) 7. A servant is not hindered by others or the world. (Gen 24:55-56) a. A servant refuses to let anyone or anything hinder him from what God has called them to. (Mar 4:18-19)

From this passage, we see that the word of God is so crucial for our lives. It is the standard, the safety, the sword, the support, and so much more!

There are temporary blessings that we can enjoy, but we need to understand that we do not need them to be happy. In fact, they can distract us from the things that really matter. Check out how Jonah cared more about the temporary comfort of his gourd vine (which grew out the cursed ground) instead of focusing on things that have real value.

"Woe unto you hypocrites!" Jesus withheld his harshest response for the religious leaders of His day. As Church leaders and those representing Christ to a watching world, is our life truly Glorifying to Him? Practical application on how to heed Christ warning from being blind and insincere Christians.

We consider what it means to live constrained by the love of Christ from 2 Corinthians 5:12-15 and examine a real life example from Christ's life in John 4. Key Bible Passage

Through this 3-D look at anger we can get more perspective on the issue of anger. We are studying Jonah 4:4 where God asks Jonah if he does well to be angry. Good question.

This week we examine what God says for those who give themselves to him. When we have faith to seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness, he will take care of us. This principle of God's faithfulness to us and his promises drives everything that we do!

Despite being eyewitnesses to the power of the Holy Spirit of God working in and through Jesus Christ, the scribes pridefully attributed that working to the power of Satan.

Cuando pensamos en la Resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo debemos de Recordar que antes de este Momento tan Glorioso, hubo Bastante ( Sumisión, Obediencia, Dolor, Sufrimiento, Pruebas, Acusaciones Y Mal trato de parte de las personas que presenciaban y consentían este Evento ) pero aun así el Señor Jesucristo puso su Fe y Mirada en Dios su Padre para soportar y Vencer la Muerte.
